Window Reviews

Our window reviews are general impressions of how the company is viewed by contractors and homeowners. We also try to pinpoint their best window lines for the price. Jeld Wen

Jeld Wen doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to their windows – they seem to produce just so so quality windows. They seem to be better at doors.

Bottom Line: Consumers may want to look elsewhere for windows – they are a good bet for doors.

Pella is a bit of a wildcard. They used to have quite a good reputation for high end windows, but many installers and contractors feel that the quality of their wood windows has gone down over the years. They are definitely in the upper echelon when it comes to price, but there are other high end manufacturers who enjoy a better reputation.

Bottom Line: A high priced manufacturer that has mixed reviews online. There may be better options for the money.
